Step-by-step guide

How to create & share your invitation

Everything you need to know — takes about 2 minutes.

Pick a design

Browse templates by occasion. Open “Live preview” to see the full animated invitation before choosing.

Fill in the details

Names, a short message and the main date & time (this drives the countdown and calendar). Sample text is pre-filled — replace it with yours.

Add your events

Add each function with date, time, venue and address. Guests get one-tap Google Maps directions.

Upload photos

One cover photo plus gallery photos (JPG/PNG/WebP up to 5 MB). Large phone photos are resized automatically. Drag to reorder.

Style it

Choose a colour palette or your own colours, fonts, intro animation (envelope, curtain, wax seal) and a falling effect.

Choose features

Turn RSVP, wishes, countdown, gallery, map and calendar on or off. Add a passcode for a private invitation.

Preview

Check on mobile and desktop views. Premium designs can be previewed fully before paying (with a “PREVIEW” watermark).

Generate & share

Click Generate to get your link (premium: after payment). It stays live for 90 days from that moment — the end date is fixed automatically. Share on WhatsApp, by QR code, or send personal “Dear ___” links.

Track replies

See RSVPs and wishes on your dashboard and export them as CSV before the link expires.

📸 Photo tips

📐

Any shape works

Photos are cropped to fit each frame automatically, so the design never breaks. Keep faces near the centre.

🗜️

Auto-resized

Large phone photos are resized in your browser before upload for faster loading. Max 5 MB each (JPG, PNG, WebP).

✨

Light & sharp

Well-lit, in-focus photos look best — especially as the cover, which guests see first.

✍️ Writing tips

Names

Very long names shrink automatically to fit, but short names (first names) look most elegant on the cover. Each design shows which name fields it uses.

Message

2–4 lines is ideal. Use line breaks to create rhythm — they are kept on the invitation.

Main date & time

This powers the countdown, “Add to calendar” and the date on the cover. Set it to the main event (e.g. the wedding ceremony).

Personal links

After generating, use the “Personalise” box to create “Dear Rahul” links — the guest’s name appears on the intro and RSVP form.

🔮 Secret capsule 👑 Premium

Turn your invitation into a 10-day countdown. A new clue unlocks every day, guests guess the surprise, and on reveal day the capsule opens by itself with a big celebration.

Switch it on

In the editor, open the Capsule tab and turn on “Show the secret capsule on my invitation”. It’s off by default, so your invitation stays a normal invitation until you choose it.

Pick a start date & unlock time

Clue 1 unlocks on the start date at your unlock time (India time), and one new clue unlocks every day after that. The capsule always runs for 10 days only, so the reveal date is set automatically: start date + 10 days. Example: start on 1 Nov at 9:00 AM → clues on 1–10 Nov → the capsule opens on 11 Nov at 9:00 AM. Tap “Open on the main date” to make the reveal happen on your event day.

Write your 10 clues

Every occasion comes with ready-made clues. Keep them, edit any of them, or tap ↺ to restore a suggestion. If you leave a clue empty, the suggested one is shown.

Prepare the big reveal

Add a reveal headline and message, up to 6 photos and a video (upload an MP4 or paste a YouTube link for longer videos), then choose a celebration: fireworks, confetti, heart burst or golden rain.

Preview any day, then share

Use “Preview any day” to see exactly what guests will see before the start, on each day, and on reveal day. Then generate your link and share it once — the same link changes by itself every day.

What do guests see each day?

A glowing capsule with a live countdown, today’s clue, and all earlier clues. Future clues stay locked with their unlock date. When the next clue is due, the page refreshes itself — guests don’t need to do anything.

What happens on reveal day?

Guests press and hold the capsule until it cracks open, then your headline, message, photos and video appear with your chosen celebration and background music. Afterwards the opened capsule stays on the invitation with a “Replay the celebration” button.

Can guests peek early?

No. Locked clues, the reveal message, photos and video are kept on our server until their time — they are not hidden inside the page, so even viewing the page source shows nothing.

Seal the whole invitation

Turn this on (in Advanced) to show guests only the capsule until reveal day. Names, dates and details stay hidden — even in the WhatsApp link preview — and the link is created as a neutral “surprise-…” address. Turn it on before generating your link.

Guess the surprise

While the capsule is sealed, guests can lock in a guess. Nobody sees the guesses until reveal day, when everyone can see what others guessed. You can read them and hide any guess from your Responses page.

How do I hide the capsule?

Switch it off in the Capsule tab (“Hide secret capsule”) or in the Features tab. Guests will no longer see the capsule, clues or reveal. Your clues and settings are kept in case you switch it back on.

Good to know

Your link is live for 90 days, so pick a start date that lets the reveal happen before it expires — the editor warns you if it doesn’t. If the reveal date has already passed, guests see the capsule already open.

🗓️ Link validity & privacy

ℹ️

Your link stays live for 90 days from the moment you generate it (for premium designs: from successful payment). The end date is set automatically and cannot be changed. After it ends, the invitation, photos, music, RSVPs and wishes are permanently deleted. Export your RSVPs before that date.
